PROJECT: Circuits Nkondo School (CLS) – Soweto

Location: Soweto, Gauteng
Client: Circuits Nkondo School (CLS)

Sunspec Solar completed a grid-tied solar installation for Circuits Nkondo School in Soweto, providing the facility with reliable, cost-effective, and sustainable energy for its classrooms, laboratories, and administrative offices.

This system was designed to reduce the school’s dependency on the municipal grid, lower operational electricity costs, and demonstrate renewable energy leadership within the education sector.

PROJECT BRIEF:

The school required a commercial-scale solar solution to meet daytime energy needs while allowing for future energy storage expansion.

Sunspec Solar engineered and installed a high-efficiency grid-tied system using Huawei smart inverter technology and Freedom Won high-voltage lithium storage, ensuring optimal performance, long-term reliability, and safety for the school environment.
